Final Photos: Vintage Free People Commercial Photoshoot

This photoshoot was so much fun!!! One of my all time favorite shoots, I was literally in awe with the location and style! It is always an honor to work with Heather!!! She's just so simply incredible. Our model Celeste was perfect for this shoot. She has an enchanting vintage quality about her look so for her makeup I played up her prominent eyes and added a dark maroon smokey look and red/purple lips with minimum face makeup. Check out the incredible photos!

Oscars 2015 Makeup Trend: Bold Colored Lips

The red carpet at the Oscars is a deserving reason to glam up and what screams classic HOLLYWOOD other than the red lipstick?! The trend this year are bold lips! I love the classic red lips, clean eyes, with a dark eyeliner because it is timeless. Red screams classy and bold, it brings the famous red carpet element and I have to say these beauties pulled it off the BEST! I love that there are so many different shades of red, you just have to know you skin undertone cool, neutral, or warm you can choose your shade of red accordingly. My favorite red lippie is MAC's Russian Red!

I am a huge movie buff and watched every single Oscar nominated best picture film, so the Oscars is always a big deal to me. I wonder what everyone's thoughts of Sunday's show and results. I honestly was massively disappointed with who won Best Picture, either Selma or Imitation Game, or ANY OTHER MOVIE in that category won my vote over Birdman. Maybe, it was just not my cup of tea. I was happy for Eddie Redmayne because he was brilliant as Stephen Hawking but I was rooting for Benedict Cumberbatch for best actor. In the best actress category my vote was for either The Theory of Everything's Felicity Jones or Gone Girl's Rosamund Pike for best actress. Not going to lie I was pretty thrown off by Julian Moore winning, because really who watch that movie? So happy about the supporting actor and actress winners, especially the win for Boyhood's Patricia Arquette. That movie needed an award for all of that time spent making it. It was a great social movie experiment that I really wished had a bigger purpose.

If you ever want to talk movies let me know! I watch a movie a week!
